Orbit Beers bring a modern approach to classic European styles, with an eye for finesse and drinkability along with a passion for music and vinyl.
Orbit is inspired not only by great European beer styles and ingredients, but by the ethos of our favourite record labels, who hold music and art above all else. Likewise, we accept no compromises when it comes to making our beers.
Orbit Founder - Robert's love of vinyl and independent labels has always been at the heart of Orbit Beers, forming the logo and influencing our brews. From the ‘White Label Series’ of experimental beers, to the core range named after music legends Nico (Christa Päffgen), Ivo (Ivo Watts-Russel, Founder of 4ad records), Peel (John Peel), and Dead Wax (Run-out wax on vinyl records).
Record Store Day
Along with our love of vinyl, we encourage you to drink and shop independent, so we're big supporters of the annual music event - Record Store Day.
It's one of the biggest events in the music calendar - one day of the year when independent record shops all across the UK come together to support each other and encourage customers to shop in-store. Many stores host artist performances, and there are special releases exclusively produced for the event.
This is a day to celebrate vinyl, independent stores, the staff, the customers, the artists, and the communities that support them.
This year (23rd April 2022), Orbit Beers worked together with Flashback Records, Audio Gold, and Rat Records to give away hundreds of Nico Lagers to customers waiting in the queues from the crack of dawn, shopping in-store throughout the day, and attending in-store artist performances in the evening.
A huge thank you to everyone that took part on the day. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
